Information Collection
We collect personally identifiable information when you register for an account at vitalityskills.com. When you register, we ask you for contact information (name and e-mail) and your credit card billing address (to verify your credit card – for your protection as well as ours). We will also ask you for your credit card number (to be processed as payment) and some personal information about your health, such as height, weight, age (to help you track your progress).

Information Use
Your contact information (name, e-mail and billing address) will only be used in ways relating to the services your have chosen at vitalityskills.com. Your information will never be sold or given to a third party. Your e-mail will only be used for e-mails relating to your services at vitalityskills.com. You can change your e-mail preferences whenever you want. We use VeriSign to process our credit card payments. This is a well-established and secure ‘gateway’ that is used by thousands of companies world-wide. We use information about how you use Vitality Skills (in aggregate) to improve our services, target our marketing and just make things better. We may also use your contact information to contact you about billing issues or other service-related concerns.

Protection of Health Information
We take your health information very seriously. Your choices of skills, reports on your progress and any other information you enter into vitalityskills.com will be protected – this information is for your use. General statistics about service utilization will be collected, but only in aggregate. Corporate users will receive the same level of protection. Employers will only be able to see reports using aggregate data concerning the participation and progress of the entire workforce using vitalityskills.com. We do include an optional incentive program. If you wish, you can allow your name and the number of skills you have completed to be viewable by your employer. The purpose of this is to allow the employer to create an incentive program for using Vitality Skills. You can change your setting at any time.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

The only time we will share your information with a third party is when we forward your billing address, name and credit card number to VeriSign for processing. We do not share your personally identifiable information with anyone else.

Information Security
Protecting your information is critical is our success. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software to encrypt your credit card information. Any information gathered is stored on secure computers in a locked data center. The number of employees with access to these computers is limited and monitored. The computers are protected with firewalls and the highest standard of security technology to prevent unauthorized access. The only time we transmit your data is for credit card processing. This is done using SSL encryption to VeriSign, an industry leader in online credit card transaction processing.

It is important for you to protect your own information as well. Be sure to logout of vitalityskills.com when you are finished, especially if using a shared or public computer. Also, safeguard your username and password to prevent unauthorized access of your account.
