Program: Be an MS Patient Expert

Who It’s For: Multiple sclerosis MS is a challenging and frustrating disease, in part because it is always changing. There are new treatments, different types of MS, complex symptom management decisions and a whole host of possibilities for the future. You need an expert around to help you make decisions, evaluate symptoms and understand what is happening. That expert is you. Over the next four weeks, we will give you tools and tasks to help you understand your MS better. If you are interested in becoming an MS Patient Expert, this program is for you.

What You’ll Do: This program gives you skills to learn each week. By gathering and assessing information about MS and your own MS experience, as well as how to talk to others including your doctor about your MS, you’ll learn to be an MS Patient Expert. Here are the four skills in this program:

Results to Expect: By the end of the program you’ll be able to answer question about MS both your questions and those asked by others. You’ll be able to talk freely about MS, your symptoms and the future with friends, family and doctors. You’ll understand the essential terms and concepts around MS. You’ll even be able to quickly find reliable information whenever you have an MS concern or other healthrelated question. In short, you’ll be an MS Patient Expert.
