Program: How to Eat

Who It’s For: No one teaches us how to eat. We pick up the eating habits of the people around us. Since 65% of adults in the US are obese or overweight, there is a good chance that you have picked up some pretty bad eating habits. Now is the time to undo them.

What You’ll Do: You may be eating hundreds of extra calories a day because of how fast you eat, where you eat, what you are doing while you eat and how you decide to stop eating. The four skills in this program will dramatically change how you eat. This could mean that you may lose up to a pound a week without focusing on what you are eating, but how you are eating it. For the next four weeks, you’ll be experimenting with different skills that focus on how, not what, you eat. The skills in this program are:

Results to Expect: This program can lead to permanent changes in how you eat, from the speed that you eat to the locations where you habitually eat. You can expect to drop a couple of pounds – even more importantly, you will gain more control over your eating, which can lay the groundwork for longterm, lasting weight loss.
