Who It’s For: Your work habits often determine how your day goes. If you can tweak and optimize how you get through your day, you just might be able to free up hours of time. Anyone who would like to have more time in their day can benefit from this program.
What You’ll Do: You’ll start by conducting an indepth analysis of how you use time. You’ll record what you do, when and for how long. You will then strictly limit for one week some of the biggest time consumers in your life – the media. You’ll reduce television, newspaper, the Internet and other media, in order to free up time for more important things. The last two skills focus on getting more things done in less time through singletasking and using a timer to set time limits. Over the next four weeks, you’ll spend a week doing each of the following:
Results to Expect: You will have mastered techniques to free up time in your day, including eliminating time wasters and becoming more efficient at getting things done. With additional time, you’ll be less stressed, less overwhelmed and feel great about what you are accomplishing. You’ll also have more time in your day to think, be creative and solve problems – the things that get you ahead in the world. So get started now and create some more time.
